During my recent city break at duRuby - Chambre & Suite, I was thoroughly impressed by the blend of comfort and style in this beautifully decorated gem situated right in the heart of Durbuy. Despite its bustling location, our ground-floor room was surprisingly peaceful; the soundproofing worked wonders against the nearby bars. The multi-level lighting added a cozy atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding after our explorations, and I particularly appreciated the complimentary bottle of cava waiting for us – a lovely touch after a day of digging through history! Now, for those wanting a quieter night, you may prefer staying further out from the center. While the chimney offered potential for cozy evenings, we weren’t quite skilled enough to get a fire going on our second night. Though the suite is perfect for couples, the door between the bedroom and bathroom may lack the privacy some groups would prefer. It was a delightful stay that offered both historic charm and modern amenities, ideal for fellow travelers with a taste for the unique.
